Parents as Language Facilitators: The It Takes Two to Talk Hanen Program

ABSTRACT: This session described the Hanen It Takes Two to Talk® Program, which provides parent-implemented language intervention to families of young children with language disorders. This manualized program adheres to principles of adult education and focuses on building parents’ capacity to facilitate their child’s language development by using evidence-based strategies within everyday interactions.
