The SHAV Advocacy Day 2023 was held on January 16, 2023 in Richmond, Virginia. This year, attendees could advocate in–person or virtually. In–person participants got a chance to network with other advocates and meet in–person with legislators in Richmond, VA. Virtual participants had a chance to build their advocacy toolkit and write letters/emails to their legislators, supporting the momentum of in–person participants! This event was free for members and nonmember.
