My name is Morgan Arthur. I am the new student representative for the SHAV Executive Board. I am currently a senior in Longwood University’s CSDS undergraduate program. It is my complete aspiration to attend Longwood University for graduate school in the Fall of 2017. I aspire to become a geriatric Speech Pathologist. In my junior year at Longwood University I became involved with SHAV. I attended the Advocacy Training and Advocacy Day, as well as the 2016 SHAV Conference. I thoroughly enjoyed each of these events and I am eager to see what this year holds for SHAV. My involvement with SHAV has provided me with an abundance of present-day information pertaining to Speech Pathology and Audiology in the state of Virginia.
I would love for you to become involved as well! As the SHAV Student Rep, I am here to assist you in anyway that I can. My main responsibility is to advocate for your wants and needs to other members of the SHAV Executive board. In order to do that, I must have your input. Please feel free to message me any questions, suggestions, or concerns you have pertaining to SHAV so I can relay them to the board. I hope to hear from you!
